Tune into something deeper

Hi there,

How are you? Let me ask again and slooooow that down a bit. How. Are. You?

Today, I’m writing to invite you to pause and ask yourself this important question. While I usually send my newsletters on Fridays, I felt this message was perfectly timed for a Monday, to help you start your week with more meaning and clarity.

Here’s why I want you to slow down and check in with yourself: Too often, we confuse how we feel with how we are. Maybe today you feel fine—a kind of neutral. Or maybe you feel tired, frustrated, or stuck. Or perhaps you’re feeling amazing. But whether you’re feeling okay-ish, overwhelmed, or fabulous, it’s easy to move through life assuming those in-the-moment emotions define how we are on a deeper level.

And while emotions do offer glimpses into our soul, they aren’t the full story. We need to be mindful not to let fleeting feelings—whether the high of a fun night out or the low of heartbreak—speak for our entire being and the true essence of who we are.

We often say things like, “I’m overwhelmed,” “I’m thriving,” or “I’m just hanging in there,” and let those emotions tell the story of how we are. But feelings are just that—temporary. They reflect what’s happening around us, not necessarily what’s true within us. They are part of our experience, but they are not the whole picture.

What I’m really inviting you into is a gentle remembering. A reminder that pausing is powerful. Going inward and listening to the deeper layers of self gives us access to more than just our emotions—it reconnects us with the truth of who we are.

How we feel may shift throughout the day, but how we are runs deeper—it’s the voice of the soul speaking.

Lately, I’ve really been leaning into this. Life has been a bit hectic with unexpected things popping up—everything from surprise to-dos to some health stuff. It’s left me feeling a little off-center. But when I’ve taken a pause and asked deeply how I am, I get these amazing messages: I’m proud of myself. I’m whole. I’m exactly where I need to be.

I wanted to give this beautiful opportunity to you—because maybe you need the pause to recognize you are truly okay. Or maybe you need the pause to realize you’re hurting and not as well as you’ve been saying you are. Either is valuable.

To help you explore this deeper “How are you?”, I’ve put together the framework below. From my own lived experience—and through supporting many others as an intuitive life coach and psychic medium—I’ve found that no matter how uniquely we each connect with our soul’s purpose, we can often begin to understand it more clearly through four simple touchpoints: Pride, Purpose, Power, and Peace. These elements can help us connect more deeply to ourselves despite what may be happening externally.

Read through the following and see if it helps you better understand how you are:

Pride

We can’t control everything around us, but we can reflect on how we’ve shown up. Set aside the noise—whether it’s workplace stress or ongoing tension with a loved one—and ask yourself: Have I been proud of how I’ve handled things lately? Have I spoken my truth, set clear boundaries, and chosen forgiveness where I could? Pride isn’t about ego—it’s about integrity, self-respect, and conscious action.

Purpose

We all have responsibilities we’d rather not deal with—from waiting too long at appointments to managing repetitive tasks—but that doesn’t mean our lives have to feel empty or disconnected. Are you aligning yourself with people, projects, and places that light you up? Are you putting your time toward things that truly matter—like making yourself or someone else smile, or bettering your friends, family, or community? Are you giving your energy to what feels nourishing, not just necessary? Purpose doesn’t have to be grand—it’s about meaning, alignment, and contribution.

Power

We were each born with unique gifts and energy. To feel deeply fulfilled—for our soul to feel complete—we must use them. How are you honoring your creative energy? How are you giving your time and talents to the world around you? Are you advocating for change where it matters most?
Personal power is about expression, service, and living with intention.

Peace

Deep fulfillment also stems from patience and faith—from trusting that our time here has meaning, even in the quietest or most disruptive moments. It’s the ability to rest in what is, rather than rush toward what’s next.
Peace invites us to trust in divine timing and to hold space for our growth, even when it’s happening beneath the surface. Inner peace is something we can cultivate from within—no one else can give it to us, and no one else can take it away. It comes from choosing trust over fear, presence over pressure.
When was the last time you truly cherished stillness? When did you last feel peace, even in the midst of difficulty, simply because you leaned into your faith?

Pride, Purpose, Power, Peace
This reflection may show you that even if you’ve been feeling unsure or emotionally shaken, you’re far more whole and aligned than you realized. Or, it may reveal that while you feel upbeat on the surface, your soul is quietly craving deeper meaning and expression.

Either way, it offers you clarity—and with clarity, alignment is just around the corner. And with alignment, everything shifts: life begins to move with ease, flow, and a sense of grounded purpose, even during the hardest of times.

If I can support you on your path—whether through intuitive coaching or a psychic mediumship session — it would be my honor to hold space for you.

Onwards!

Sincerely,

PS – Here’s an affirmation to use when your feelings are getting the best of you and you need to reconnect with your deeper truth, “I honor the truth of who I am beyond how I feel. I am whole, I am guided, and I am becoming.”

P.P.S. – Writing is a powerful way to access your inner wisdom—so grab a pen and paper and ask yourself, “If my soul could speak freely today, what would it want me to know?” and let the words flow without overthinking. You may be surprised by the clarity, comfort, and insight that emerges.
